8th Annual Gala Success!
Our annual Gala fundraiser brought the West Shore community together to support public education.
This year's Gala was a great celebration and a great fundraising success. With a fun masquerade theme, West Shore Foundation supporters, West Shore School District teachers and staff, and community members came together to enjoy an amazing evening at the West Shore Country Club and support public education. With everyone's support, the West Shore Foundation raised over $56,000, which allows funding for Educator Innovation Grants, student scholarships, and S.T.E.A.M. and literacy program support. We were thrilled to have Cheers Harrisburg CEO/Owner and RLHS Class of 1997 grad, Sara Bozich, as our Guest Alumnus Speaker.
Guests were delighted and engaged by programs that the Foundation supports, including Project Apiary, Solar Cockroaches, and Playground Communication Boards. The artistic and musical talents of West Shore students was on display for our guests to enjoy as well.
Special shout out to the staff of the West Shore Country Club and Mr. B Entertainment for making the evening a memorable one!
