Grants In Action: Rossmoyne Elementary School

Thanks to the West Shore Foundation’s Educator Innovation Grant, playtime at Rossmoyne Elementary has been transformed into something extraordinary!
The newly enhanced K–1 blacktop playground isn’t just a place to run and laugh—it’s a vibrant learning environment where our youngest students and those in low incidence classrooms can explore letters, numbers, and shapes while strengthening their gross motor skills. Every hop, skip, and jump is helping them grow both academically and socially.

This project is a shining example of how innovation in education can spark joy and curiosity. And it’s all possible because of the incredible support from our community.
