Supporting the District's Social Workers

The West Shore Foundation is thrilled that we were able to support the West Shore School District's social workers two ways this August. During the District's Opening Day event, the Foundation provided the social workers with $2,500 to support the H.E.A.R.T. Healthy Eating program, which will provide families in need with basic kitchen appliances, cookware, and utensils. Following that, our partners at Pennian Bank in Lemoyne hosted a Basic Needs Drive for us. Donations of hygiene products, dental supplies, and paper goods were donated so that we could help the social workers help families in need.
